Question:
Are Bill and Charlie Weasly twins?

I always thought they were simply brothers, Bill was the eldest, then charlie, then percy, ect... but in the fourth book when Bill and Molly come to cheer on harry, Bill says "Its been five years since ive been here" this means Bill would have left the year before Harry and Ron came. But Gryffindor needed a new seeker because charlie left, which ment Bill and charlie would have both left the same year. Was this a mistake of J.K. Rowling? (there are other mistakes) or perhaps are they simply brothers close enough to be in the same year at school? OR am i completely wrong? (this too is possible lol)

The way I saw it was that it was 5 years since he last visited Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry not 5 years since he finished school.

No, Bill is the oldest and Charlie is a year or two younger. It's possible that Bill had returned to the school previously, but after he "graduated", but I think that there was probably a seeker in between Charlie and Harry. At the same time, it could be a mistake of Rowlings.

Wow.. that is so weird I can't believe I didn't see that.. I highly doubt Charlie and Bill are twins though.. it would have said something... maybe you overlooked it too much.. orr maybe Gryffindor was missing a seeker for more then a year.. but then again how would that make since you cant have a game of Quidditch without the seeker the other team would probably win... idk probably her mistake
